HISTORY OF DILLON''S RV CITY

In 1981, after 10 years of record-setting success with a Mesa Chevrolet dealership, Richard “Dick” Dillon launched Dillon’s Fleet Dept Inc., a quality used car dealership located on Main St. in Mesa. In 1984, growing interest in Van Conversions and Class B motorhomes prompted Dick to change the product focus, and to find a more descriptive name to go with it -- dba Dillon’s Van City. As he continued to build a loyal customer base, Dick procured a New Car Dealer’s license, which enabled the company to begin selling new van conversions and Class B motorhomes in addition to quality used vehicles. A few years later, as market trends shifted towards RV’s and travel trailers, Dick once again transformed the dealership’s product line and name -- to Dillon’s RV City.

In 1997, Dillon’s RV City relocated it’s dealership from the Mesa location to 10310 E. Apache Trail in Apache Junction, just East of Crismon, housing their RV Parts and Accessories store, Sales and Service Departments.
